Heat and Dust
Shooting in the Australian 'outback'.
Forest fires, dust storms and 40 degree heat.
The new Red Epic fans had to work hard, particularly given that the camera was bagged most of the time... even placed in a Scuba housing for the dust storm... and yet no overheating issues at all!
An epic landscape both in wide and macro.
And for the latter a boroscope utilised for deep focus shots, pictured here mounted with a 10mm Switar lens.
By tweaking its dual focusing options, focus could be made to run from sharp foreground grains of sand through to the horizon.
